RAM Freezing Simulation
This visualization demonstrates how freezing RAM can help preserve encryption keys that would normally disappear when power is lost.
RAM Module
System status: Ready
How RAM Freezing Works
- RAM contents decay slowly when power is lost (seconds to minutes)
- Cooling RAM chips (with compressed air or liquid nitrogen) slows decay
- This allows forensic tools to dump memory contents
- Encryption keys may be found in the memory dump
Note: This is a simulation only. Actual RAM freezing requires physical access and specialized equipment.
