Breusch-Pagan Test for Heteroscedasticity
This tool helps you check for heteroscedasticity (unequal variance) in your regression residuals. Enter your data below:
- Enter your dependent variable (Y) values, separated by commas
- Enter your independent variable (X) values, separated by commas
- Click "Perform Test" to see the results
About the Breusch-Pagan Test
The Breusch-Pagan test checks for heteroscedasticity in regression models. The null hypothesis is that the variance of the residuals is constant (homoscedasticity).
How to interpret:
- If p-value < 0.05: Reject null hypothesis (heteroscedasticity present)
- If p-value ≥ 0.05: Fail to reject null hypothesis (homoscedasticity)
